The NDA government aims to make women financially independent.

The NDA government has introduced several initiatives to empower women and promote their financial independence. One such initiative is the *Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao* scheme, launched on January 22, 2015. This scheme aims to generate awareness and improve the efficiency of welfare services meant for women, particularly in districts with low Child Sex Ratio.

Another significant initiative is the *Stand Up India* mission, launched on April 5, 2016. This mission promotes entrepreneurship among women, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes, providing them with loans and support to start their own businesses.

Additionally, the government has introduced various other schemes, such as *Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana*, which provides affordable housing to the urban poor, including women. The *Skill India* initiative also aims to train over 40 crore people, including women, in different skills by 2022.

These initiatives demonstrate the NDA government's commitment to empowering women and promoting their financial independence.
